Meet Cecily June Grigson, a dynamic artist whose creative spirit shines through her paintings, drawings, jewelry and multimedia. Cecily’s stunning painting of endangered wildlife was showcased in a juried art competition at the Okefenokee Heritage Center, and her work has been featured in Okefenokee Living Magazine. Through an apprenticeship with Jorah Mitchell and Sienna Fox studio, Cecily designed and completed a mural of “edible local flora” at the Waycross Downtown Food Bank, and she is currently painting a series of imaginative murals for a South Georgia school district, filling their learning spaces with her colorful and inspiring artwork.
