#Songs4Creatives

Bringing POSITIVITY and LOVE, one creator at a time!

Creative people face incredible negativity online. (too easy to be mean behind screens) Brutal comments aimed at creatives left me heartbroken and powerless. No amount of defending and arguing in the comment section would help! But I had an idea.

I could write a song.

#Songs4Creatives is going on the offensive by raising the positivity level around creatives. Songs dedicated to CREATIVE PEOPLE who pour their hearts into their work facing the harsh world of the internet and social media.

Bringing POSITIVITY and LOVE, one creator at a time!

SONG #1 ⭐️ Inspired by Synthpop Troubador

Disco Helmet Man

Inspired by the creative performances of busking musician Synthpop Troubadour (Stephen Taylor), Disco Helmet Man is a tribute to the beauty of the creative mind and the courage it takes to put yourself out there in public (and the internet).

Look at them legs and fingers!

Disco Helmet Man,
When your keyboard broke it made me sad.
And when the haters started hating
Saying you should not be playing,
Well it kinda made me mad!

They’re not Super·cali·fragil·istic.
They’re not Expi·ali·docious at all!
And they cannot Hoya! with the worst of us,
And they cannot Genau, Genau, Genau, Genau!

Cause you’re the Disco Helmet Man
Synthpop Troubadour
With your fingers all afire
And your legs are kicking higher
I’m a wave in a sea of fans
Of the Disco Helmet Man!

Look at them legs and fingers!
Of the Disco Helmet Man!

SONG #2 ⭐️ Inspired by Wackson_22

Too Frigid

Inspired by the hilarious antics of style guru and viral dance trend embracer Wackson22 (Jackson Depugh), “Too Frigid” is a tribute to being yourself and putting out there with energy and panache.

LYRICS ⬇️

I was end-of-the-day doom scrolling
Through my feed I was flipping
When he slid up on my screen
All dripping with drip and
He kind of made me freeze
Thinking “who’s this gonna be?”
Then he three-sixtied
And left me straight tripping!

Oh my goodness bro
Can’t even mess with this!
Literally haters
You got nothing on this!
You’re all glowed up
You’re way too clean, son
Wackson! (You’re too frigid)
Wackson! (You drip)

And when he said
”I’m too crazy with it so take me to jail”
It was sure to me his
Personality would prevail
Just ignore the bullies
Online, at school!
If you be you you’re automatically cool!

Aw yeah Freaks and Geeks
Like a king but wearing sneaks
Aw naw, here we go
Three sixty on the floor
Big top, Hip Hop
Never stop the show shorty
Let’s get dressed and go party
Like its 1999

We cool like that, we chill like that
You know yoo-hoo? We feel like that!

Back in high school
They did not know that you were cool
They did not know you
And now you’re breaking all the rules
And now they know
What they did not know

LYRICS ⬇️

Button the Busker
Ba ba ba ba ba bada (etc.)

I saw you buskin’ kickin’
Strummin’ harpin’ that solo
I saw you hustlin’
I’m getting in
Fights with all your trolls
Oh no!

People are so quick to judge
But your spirit is what people love
You’re a one man band!

Next Up: sci-fi author, rock queen, big sister
